SMG-1 Is a 3 lens Spectacle style magnifier that utilizes a 3 optical optical grade acrylic lens system and lightweight comfortable eyeglass frames, this model is ideal for small tasks & hobbies that require magnification and hands free movement or just reading and vision enhancement. The optical grade lenses provide a crystal clear dynamic magnified view, magnifications range from 1.5x, 2x, 3.5x, magnification & focal lengths range from 14" to 4" The 1.5x and 2x are ideal for reading the 3.5x are perfect for up-close detail work such as soldering, part inspection & circuit board and hobby repair. The 3.5X lenses can be used for reading but, the focal length will be approximately 4" you so will need to have the reading material close to view it in focus. Please take note that as with all optical lenses they have have a corresponding focal length and the higher the magnification the shorter (closer) the focal length. The prismatic lenses allow each eye to focus on the object being viewed at the proper distance for magnification being used, thereby relieving eye strain and fatigue. Comes with soft/ hardened lens case for lens protection and storage. Is a spectacle styler lightweight and very comfortable alternative to a traditional headband Magnifier.
