Magna-lite magnifiers where back ordered with my supplier, so was looking for a comparable replacement, bought this and it has a much higher quality lens and similar light intensity. They came with batteries installed although 1 of them the batteries didn't work, minor issue. Otherwise, very happy with this product and try to buy USA made products when ever I can, will be purchasing these moving forward.

This is very high quality pocket magnifier, super bright light, and lens is much superior to my magna-lite 100 which has center distortion. I highly recommend this magnifier for someone that needs a quality magnifier for daily work.

Had a Magna Lite magnifier from Snap On , and the lens wasn't quite right had some waviness, and the metal contacts fell out when changing the batteries, I mistakenly dropped and hand cart rolled over and broke it. This is nice magnifier for inspection and seems very well built, although time will tell how is lasts overtime.

I concur reviews, I work for a large OEM electronic manufacturer in Germany, this magnifier holds up very well to daily use and abuse, the quality is top notch, at this price its a very excellent value compared to German made magnifiers.

We used to use the magna-lite pocket magnifiers but this M-70 is much better and is made in USA too, the magna-lite lens is has more distortion and when you change the batteries the contacts always fall out which is frustrating. This M-70 is built rock solid, has a great lens, brighter bulb, slightly slimmer, we always try to buy American made magnifiers. I highly recommend this for commercial/industrial use.

During my service as a USMC armorer I used this magnifier to inspect, service, maintain, and repair our weapons systems. Attention to detail is critical in this line of work and this magnifier with its bright illumination and excellent lens is a helpful tool. I now use this and a headband magnifier for most of my work.

High quality magnifier with good magnification, I have a prototyping business, every prototype and mockup has to be perfect, we use this magnifier and its illuminating light to check detail as well as a larger 3x to scan larger surface areas. This magnifier is well designed and made.

I use this for identifying silver marks and for reading, I like the metal light button and the bifocal , its a very well made magnifying glass.
